Lucy~[Swallows hard, lifting blurry green eyes to Savannah.] I...I'm a vampire too. Ana, my mother, turned me years ago. Centuries, even. It-It's possible for a vampire to revive another vampire, but it's extremely difficult and requires a lot of strength on the resurector's part...It's practically impossible, only done a handful of times in history...I have to bite her with a certain kind of energy...I-I don't know if I can do it..

Lucy~[Shakes her head.] No! But...If I try and fail, there's no chance of bringing her back...Ever. She'll stay dead. Maybe someone else can, someone stronger...Of course, she has to be bitten within a certain amount of time...[Bites her lip as her thoughts scramble.]

Lucy~[Takes a deep cleansing breath and shifts her position so she's leaning over Ana. She focused all of her energy into one single thought, bringing back her mother. A clear mind was of the essence, and this was something Lucy was used to doing. Her fangs grew and she dug them into her mother's neck, squeezing her hand that was as cold as a comet's core. "I love you, mother, I'm so sorry...Please come back...Please..."]

Ana~[Feeling....Was that feeling? She wasn't sure. She had been caught in the numbness of the previous snippet of time in the long ribbon of her life, though it had felt like eons. She was trapped in some kind of body of water, her skin burning, though she felt freezing at the same time. Was this what it felt like to be dead?...Was she dead? The feeling came again, though it was focused on her mind. Mother? Who was calling her mother?...Could it be? It couldn't....But maybe it could. "Amanda!" She fought for surfacing, clawing for her daughter. She found herself abruptly back in her body, dry, freezing, and having trouble breathing. She made pathetic choking sounds.]

Lucy~[Pulls the stake out in one fluid movement, putting her neck beneath her mother's nose, inviting her to feed.]

Ana~[Not knowing who it was or where she was, she instinctively bit the pale neck in front of her, drinking and recuperating. Finishing, she closed her eyes, trying to process her whereabouts.]

Ana~[All else fades from the world. Savannah was a distant sound. She opened her silver eyes slowly and gasped.] Oh my god....[She launched forward and hugged her daughter tightly, kissing her cheek.] Amanda, oh my god...

LucyWhoseRealNameIsAmanda~[Nods.] Yes. Lucy's my...alias. [She smiled brightly at her mother, who was almost at tears. At last, Amanda Lucille Winters caved and rested her head on her mother's chest, something she hadn't done since she was a small child and wept, telling her of the horrid things she had done to her. How Amanda had killed her own mother.]

Ana~[Is astonished, but maternal instincts kick in and she pets her daughter's hair gently, telling her it'll all be alright, that she was there now. Her eyes momentarily went to Savannah. "Is that true?"]

Ana~[Tries to block out that little fact and focuses on her daughter, calming her sobbing form. Amethyst comes in and licks the both of them. "Thanks, Savannah...What about Rosemary?"]
